This question is based somewhat off of my previous blog post. I'm not going to talk about what I personally believe or don't believe in most of the questions that I ask on here. I want to see what you believe about these topics. There are many people in the world that are openly lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual, etc. This question is not about if you do/don't believe that any of those lifestyles is wrong or not. According to most believers of Christianity, those lifestyles are wrong. I'm not even asking if you subscribe to the Christian faith. Just base your opinion off the fact that the Christian faith considers those lifestyles wrong. Now, here is my question:
So, say a transgender individual chose to have a gender reassignment. The person isn't a believer of the Christian faith at the time. Later on in life, the person (now a different gender, by way of surgery and hormone therapies) decides to follow the Christian faith. What now...? I mean, I don't really know what I'm asking. Maybe, what should they do, if anything?Does God forgive them that they chose to change their gender? If he does, does that mean they should keep living as that gender.. or should they go back? Going back means changing their gender back to the gender they were physically born as.
Taboo topic?
It's just an interesting thought to me.
